Oakington Dog Day Care Centre
We Would Love to Meet You!
VIP Tours
All of our daycare dogs are treated like VIP's and we love to welcome new superstars to the pack! If you are interested in looking around our facilities before starting your dog's adventure with us, please contact us and we can organise a private tour for you and your dog. We will show you around and talk you through our induction process as well as our fun daily routines for the dogs. Tours are given at a convenient time for you, either in the evening when all the day care dogs have gone home, or at the weekend. Your dog can run and play safely within our secure fields whilst you chat with our knowledgeable team.
What can I see when I come to visit?
Reception area – Where the dogs sign in/out for the day, as well as our shop.
We are proud to to be Cotswold Raw Dog Food stockists, feeding your dog the way nature intended. We love to see the change in dogs when they go from kibble to high quality, balanced and complete raw food. Their coats shine, they have fewer skin complaints and they are full of energy! If you would like any advice on starting your dog's journey to a healthier and more natural diet, we would be happy to help you.
Quiet zone – Where dogs rest at lunchtime and during the day. We have sofa’s, duvets, beds and crates depending on where the dogs like to settle and what they are allowed to do at home. What bed will your dog choose?
Indoor play area – We have a large indoor space for the dogs to enjoy. which is split into two. A play area and a a quieter area with sofas and beds, for the dogs that enjoy gentler play and rest. We can get some toys out and your dog can also try out the ball pool.
Indoor Sensory Scentre – Along with our outdoor Sensory Garden we also have a special sensory area indoors, all sorts of smells, textures and objects for your dog to use their little grey cells exploring.
Paddock – You will be able to go through to our outside paddock area and chat with a member of our team whilst your dog looks around the play equipment, tyres and climbing apparatus.
Back fields – Your dog can have a good run and play, or expel some energy in our digging pit. Depending on the weather, they can also explore the sand pit and paddling pools, as well as our wild garden and our sensory garden.
Sensory Garden – This is our outdoor Zen space to bring down the excitement levels as your dogs sniff the plants and herbs. In our vegetable area we are hoping for peas and broccoli this year.
Wild Garden – Access to this is weather dependent, and we leave this area completely natural, your dog is free to dig in this area and sniff the wild grasses and wild plants. This garden is another area where the dogs naturally chill down inbetween games with their buddies.
How long will it take to look around?
That is dependent on you the customer, we don’t rush people through, we take time to chat to you and answer any questions you may have, and we take time to play and engage with your dog. We love to see your dog enjoying our facilities and explore all that is on offer to them. There is no time limit.
Please contact us and we will be happy to organise a private VIP tour for you and your dog!
We look forward to welcoming you and your dog!
