How our Intermediate Dog Training Course helps busy owners raise the perfect dog

Oakington Dog Day Care Centre are proud to offer our Intermediate Dog Training Course.  We would all love to have a perfectly obedient dog,  who is happy and confident in the world, but sometimes life gets in the way and it can be hard to keep up regular training sessions.  We have all been there, watching our dog in exasperation as they misbehave yet again, trying everything to get them to stop!  We are here to help take the stress out of training.

​​We ensure that all our dogs learn in a friendly and fun way, using positive reinforcement and lots of yummy treats to establish learning.  We use a variety of methods whilst training and the full facilities of day care to give your dog mental and physical enrichment while training, making sure the learning sticks!

​

Our Intermediate Training Course is tailored to you and your dog. Your dog will get private 1 to 1 training sessions that are integrated into their full day of day care, so you can drop your dog off in the morning knowing they are getting a balanced and fun filled day, while learning some valuable life skills with our experienced and passionate team.  Dogs learn best in short sessions, and your dog will get a number of private turbo training sessions throughout their day.  We are all about getting you the results you want!  Your dog will need to attend daycare 3 days per week so that we can work on getting you the results you want to get your pooch strutting their stuff, showing off their new moves for you to use at home and out and about!

Every week you will receive a training journal, which includes photos and videos demonstrating what your dog has learnt, so you can see how they are progressing! You will also receive a clicker to help you continue your training at home; one of our knowledgeable team will explain how to use the clicker correctly so you can get started straight away!  We can also discuss any questions that you may be having with your own training at home.  You and your dog will receive two 30-minute personalised training sessions with one of our dedicated and knowledgeable team, helping you to reach your goals and work through any training issues you may be having at home.​

What’s Included?

  • 121 private training sessions 

  • You and your dog will receive two 30-minute training sessions with one of our dedicated and knowledgeable team members. We can answer any questions that you may have about how we train here, or any problems that you may have encountered at home.​

  • Your dog will get a number of private Turbo training sessions throughout the day that have been designed to be fun and engaging for your pooch. 

  • A training journal emailed to you after every session, including photos and videos of how your dog has progressed.

We will need

  • Your dog to attend daycare 3 days per week in order to get the results you want.
